New 2024 Ford Bronco Legend Forges Ahead SUV Review

Posted on

2024 Ford Bronco who doesn’t know one of Ford’s phenomenal iconic SUVs will be redesigned in 2021 after not being present in the automotive world for approximately 25 years? The new 2024 Ford Bronco is expected to be offered in both two-door and four-door body styles.

The 2024 Ford Bronco will also offer a number of engines, roof, and solid interior choices. The additions to the Everglades model also center on a number of Raptor variants that are ready to go Off-Road in the 2022 model year and are certainly ready to compete with rival Jeep Wranglers.

As a result of all the changes that have occurred to the 2022 model year, we hope that Ford will continue to refine its 2024 Ford Bronco model to be even better than the previous year. Of course, with a new paint edition with a reliable classic modern off-roader style.

2024 Ford Bronco Reviews

Apart from the updated 2024 Ford Bronco, the good news is that the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is also reported to be getting a significant refresh in the coming year, equipped with a new hybrid powertrain. The 2024 Ford Bronco Sport is still a relatively new Compact SUV introduced back in 2021 with some significant refreshes.

2024 Ford Bronco

2024 Ford Bronco Exterior

The 2024 Ford Bronco SUV features an up-and-coming exterior design that boasts a rugged, sporty styling look coupled with durable body cladding and short overhangs. The front of the SUV has a square grille with headlights that are attached to the center trim.

The rugged Ford Bronco Sport front bumper boasts a durable design and blacked-out C-pillar styling gives the Bronco Sport a sporty edge.

Meanwhile, the rear view of the 2024 Ford Bronco features square taillights and a chunky rear bumper. A little refresher could see the 2024 Bronco Sport get front and rear bumper updates and new lighting elements, but we expect the boxy design to stay the same.

2024 Ford Bronco Interior

On the inside, the 2024 Foord Bronco Sport SUV has a nice and simple interior with strong and neat design elements and ample space, of course. The tiered dashboard has a touch screen partially integrated into the dashboard and physical controls located directly below the screen.

A large, spacious storage space separates the controls for the infotainment system from the HVAC controls located at the bottom of the center console. The square air vents with durable, thicker styling make the Bronco Sport feel like a solid cabin.

We don’t know what a refresh for the cabin will look like, although a redesigned center console may be in the cards.

The current Bronco Sport comes with an eight-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, six-speaker audio, and voice recognition. We expect these features to continue to be standard for 2024. Available features will include a 6.5-inch digital instrument cluster, navigation, Bang & Olufsen audio system, wireless charging pad, satellite radio, and HD Radio.

2024 Ford Bronco Powertrains

The big news for 2024 is the addition of a new hybrid powertrain. Ford hasn’t confirmed anything yet, but we could see the Bronco Sport receiving the 2.5-liter four-cylinder and electric motor powertrain in the Maverick. Other engines will include a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Power from non-hybrid engines will range from 181 horsepower to 250 hp. Front-wheel drive will be standard and all-wheel drive will be available.

The current Bronco Sport is equipped with standard safety features. The compact SUV comes standard with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic warning, and automatic high beam assist.

Available safety features include adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, lane centering assist, evasive steering assist, and rear parking sensors. We hope this feature is available in the 2024 Bronco Sport.

2024 Ford Bronco Price

The refresh will make this compact SUV more expensive than the current model which starts at $30,810 on purpose.

2024 Ford Bronco Release Date

We could see the 2024 Ford Bronco Sport arriving in the summer of 2023.

Previous Point

Earlier this month, the FA reported that a refresh of the Ford Bronco was scheduled for the 2025 model year, creating a four-year gap between it and the all-new 2021 Ford Bronco.

However, sources familiar with the future of the model are now telling the Ford Authority (FA) that FoMoCo has decided to move the one-year Ford Bronco refresh – to the 2024 model year – although there is no immediate reason for the change.

Mid-cycle refreshes generally occur in the automotive world every 3-4 years, so this is not unusual. Meanwhile, Ford has several exciting new Bronco models to look forward to. That includes the recently teased ultra-high-performance Ford Bronco Raptor, which will debut for the 2022 model year, as the FA reported last month.

In addition, the 2022 Bronco will be available with the Sasquatch Package and a 7-speed manual, as confirmed by the FA today.

The new Capable front bumper, a roof rack for the four-door Broncos equipped with the Sasquatch package, and a new model – perhaps called everglades – complete the additions for the 2022 model year, while Wildtrak will lower its standard MIC hardtop for a soft top.

Looking further ahead, the Bronco will soon be available in other parts of the world, including the Middle East and possibly Europe, although it likely won’t be available as a right-hand drive model.

Ford CEO Jim Farley also recently hinted that the all-electric Bronco may be in the works, which isn’t a big surprise given the fact that the automaker is investing heavily in EVs and plans to eventually turn the entire North American lineup into electric power.

2024 Ford Bronco Review

Automakers typically tend to give their models no more than five years before they come out with new changes and updates, so rumors that the Ford Bronco is set to get a refresh for the 2024 model aren’t too surprising.

2024 Ford Bronco

The FA recently reported that an unnamed source claimed the Bronco refresh was originally scheduled for the 2025 model but has now been moved to the 2024 model year instead.

There’s no word on what this refresh will look like, whether it’s just a minor look change, or whether there will be anything more substantial for it. Since Ford hasn’t confirmed the refresh at all, we won’t know the details until later.

A refresh in the model is usually not the same as a redesign, so the 2024 Bronco may have some of the same features as the current 2021 model, which is quite popular, or the upcoming 2022 Bronco.

Some of the latest updates Ford has given on its latest model also include the ones likely to be found in the highly anticipated Bronco Raptor, which is a more off-road version of the regular Bronco.

These features and updates include a more capable front bumper and available roof racks as well as an optional manual transmission for the Broncos equipped with the Sasquatch package.

There are also rumors that the engine for the Bronco Raptor may be a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 and may be equipped with a Fox shock. We’re not sure if all of that will translate to Bronco 2024, but there’s still the possibility.

Recently, Ford CEO Jim Farley seemed to hint that the electric Bronco is also in the works, but we don’t have any more information on that for now.

Ford Bronco 2024 Refresh

The bronco reborn from the long-awaited Ford arrived in the showroom for the 2021 model year, or at least some Broncos had a slow launch, however, the Blue Oval was already planning to give its first update SUV. A mid-cycle refresh is expected to arrive in 2024.

Citing anonymous sources, the FA website reported that the Bronco will enter the 2024 model year after receiving its first major update. While a proper timeline isn’t given, we expect to see the 2024 variant of most cars – not just the Bronco – during the calendar year 2023.

The timing is interesting: Previously unverified reports claim the Bronco won’t be updated until the 2025 model year.

There is no explanation for why the change reportedly leapfrogged the model year on Ford’s product roadmap. The delay has disrupted the launch of the Bronco, but it is a popular model that has received rave reviews from fans and journalists, so it does not need an emergency update.

Ford may want to stay fresh to ensure that the hype surrounding the Bronco remains high. And Jeep needs to worry: While details about what will happen next for the Wrangler aren’t available, Jeep’s days of complacency over the years are over.

Concrete information on how Ford will update the Bronco has not yet been released. We expect the usual design tweaks and technology improvements, and it’s not too far-fetched to assume the trim hierarchy and the list of available features will be reassembled.

Ford has not commented on the report. It has not yet been announced what the long-term future will be for the Bronco.

Meanwhile, information about the 2022 Bronco has begun to spread. We know that buyers will have two new colors named Eruption Green Metallic and Hot Pepper Red Metallic, respectively, to choose from, and Ford has confirmed the Bronco Raptor will join the lineup for 2022 as well.

It won’t have a V8; eight cylinders have been ruled out due to emissions-related issues, although tuners like Hennessey stepped in to fill this void. However, the long-rumored Bronco-based truck has been canceled.

2024 All-Electric Ford Bronco

The Ford Bronco will get a refresh for the 2024 model year, a new report suggests.

2024 Ford Bronco

Citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter, the FA said the automaker originally intended to update it for the 2025 model year but has since moved it forward by a year.

Given that the launch of the facelifted Bronco is still a few years away, it’s hard to know what changes Ford will make, but they’ll likely include the usual revised front and rear fascia lineups, and also some interior updates and, perhaps, some new technology.

The years to come seem quite interesting to fans of the new Bronco. Ford has confirmed that the Raptor variant is imminent and will hit the market for the 2022 model year. The off-roader’s high-performance variant will allegedly use a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 with about 400 hp and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm).

Some remain hopeful that the Bronco will also be available with the V8 at some stage, but so far, there is no indication that this will happen.

An all-electric Bronco can also be on the card. With Jeep already taking the Wrangler by storm with a 4xe hybrid and reportedly working on an all-electric variant, it’s no surprise that Ford is also electrocuting its SUV.

In May, Jim Farley, CEO of Blue Oval, hinted that the company might be working on an all-electric Bronco, though he didn’t confirm it that far.

2024 Ford Bronco Release Date

Since the 2022 Ford Bronco has not yet been released or even a definite release date has been announced in this regard, we do not know when the 2024 model will be available. However, it is safe to say that it is likely to arrive sometime in 2023.

2024 Ford Bronco Price

The 2021 Ford Bronco currently has a price range from $29,995 to $58,905 depending on the trim. Considering the First Edition trims that are the highest sold outright, it is suspected That Ford could take advantage of the interest and raise the price slightly for the 2022 model.

With that being said, we don’t have a clear picture of what the upcoming 2024 model will cost.
