2024 Ford F350 after seeing the Prototype Ford Super Duty 2024 for the first time last October, previewing the upcoming pickup refresh, Ford Authority (FA) spies have captured several other 2024 Super Duty prototypes in a variety of configurations,
Ranging from a dual single cabin to a dual SuperCrew, a SuperCab with a standard bed, a Platinum-trimmed model with black wheels, an F-450 gooseneck trailer puller, and the lighter SuperCrew camo’d.
That same spy also gave us a first look at the updated super-duty interior and a glimpse of the plain XL cabin, though now we’re getting a better look inside the new pickup thanks to an assembly line video recently posted to Instagram.
As the FA reported in September 2021, the 2024 Ford Super Duty will undergo a mid-cycle refresh that will introduce revised styling inside and out, as well as some new technology features.
Since that time, FA spies have seen several 2024 Ford Super Duty prototypes driven with varying degrees of camouflage, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the exterior and interior design of the pickup. Now, a source familiar with the matter told the FA that the Ford Super Duty 2024 order bank will open on October 17, 2022.
2024 Ford F350 Review
In terms of what else we know about this next-generation heavy-duty truck, at this point, it’s a guessing game. But this is what we thought we knew.
The shots revealed on insta accounts are heavily disguised – except for the grids. So we can take a good look at the new stretch that seems simpler. However, with a lack of chrome, we can probably assume the grille we see here is on a more trimmed truck.
Bigger takeaway: New headlight design, which reflects the design of the recently redesigned F-150 headlights. You see a daytime running C-Clamp LED light on the outer edge with (possibly) an LED headlight inside a black grille loop.
Although we can’t see many parts of the body and rear windows, it seems that the taillights are also an evolution of the current F-150 taillights. And if the F-150 tailgate is something to buy, we’ll see bolder Super Duty embossed letters between the lights.

Meanwhile, FA spies have seen several 2024 Ford Super Duty prototypes being tested in recent months as long-running models prepare to undergo a refresh, including a double single cabin, Dual Crew Cabin, SuperCab with the standard bed,
Platinum-trimmed model with black wheels, an F-450 gooseneck trailer puller, a Crew Cab prototype that wears much less camo, others offer a step view of the truck’s new bed, and the King Ranch F-450 in doubles, as well as our first look at the updated Super Duty interior, a plain glimpse of the XL cabin, and an assembly line video that showcases the inside in more detail.
Sometimes when we get an eye-eye photo of a new vehicle, it is difficult to say when we will see its production model. But we don’t need to guess much about this.
On the back of this Prototype Ford F-Series Super Duty, there is a useful sticker that tells us that this is the 2024 model year. So the disclosure is probably the longest in just a few months. These photos show that it was not a dramatic update, but there were some interesting changes.
What you may notice first is that the Super Duty lights are even bigger than before. And they’re already big enough. At least they look like it. It could also have something to do with the new grille, which now fits the headlight border rather than fits the edges.
The headlights also have a blockier shape, instead of being mounted on the arch of the front fender. The taillights are the same deal.
Also interesting is the big step on the side of the rear fender. We’ve seen these steps before, but not on Ford trucks. It appears on GM’s latest heavy-duty full-size pickup. They certainly seemed like a good idea for easier bed access, and they had to be taken by Ford.

2024 Ford F350 Rendering

Based on the design of the current-generation Ford Super Duty truck, and the open grille on the 2024 prototype, TheSketchMonkey YouTuber made a render of what he thought would look like Ford’s latest truck.
In a recent batch of spy shots, the new Ford Super Duty 2024 is slowly becoming clearer. Thanks to limited front-end camouflage, the front grille of this 2024 Ford Super Duty is completely open showing a notable difference from the current generation of trucks.
Based on our observations, this 2024 Ford Super Duty is a Lariat trim based on the presence of side steps and body mirror covers.
Although we got the opportunity to analyze the new grille of the Ford Super Duty 2024, Ford’s camouflage hides another change in the truck’s metal sheet.
The hood appears flat and different gutters around the grille of the current generation of trucks are currently hidden in this disguised prototype truck.
When it comes to final production trucks, we expect several updates that make this more than just a mediocre mid-cycle refresh.
Based on the spy photos, we expect a completely redesigned interior that should follow the design cues of the current-generation Ford F-150.
Ford Super Duty 2024 should maintain the current line of gasoline and diesel engines with the possibility of hybrid models. The current 6.2-liter and 7.3-liter V8 engines should remain relatively unchanged along with the turbocharged 6.7-liter V8 diesel engine.
New Ford F350 2024 Exterior
On the outside, the 2024 Super Duty won’t deviate too much from the current model, though the front-end design is influenced by the all-new 2022 Ford Maverick and the redesigned new generation Ford Ranger with a twin-bar split grille and C-clamp headlights.
The updated center of the pickup remains the same – although it will feature an integrated bed step, as the FA reported exclusively last week – while the rear flaunts a new taillight design.
The 2024 Ford Super Duty combines the style influenced by the all-new 2022 Ford Maverick and the next-generation Ford Ranger, with a split twin-bar grille and C-clamp headlights, as well as a new taillight design at the rear.
Inside the cabin, this pickup has an overall look very similar to the 2021 Ford F-150, with a new steering wheel, gauge cluster, and the possibility of a larger infotainment screen.
2024 Ford F350 Interior
As expected, the interior of the 2024 Ford Super Duty is very similar to its Ford F-Series counterpart, the Ford F-150, which was redesigned for the 2021 model year. That includes an almost identical steering wheel design, a digital instrument cluster, and a large infotainment screen.
2022 Super Duty has just received several updates, including an all-new landscape-oriented 12-inch center touchscreen, similar to the one found on the 2021 F-150, which comes standard with SYNC 4 on the Lariat model and above.
SYNC voice control and the 4.2-inch center screen remain standard on XL series trucks with SYNC 3 available, while the 8-inch center touchscreen and SYNC 3 are standard on XLT-trimmed 2022 Ford Super Duty pickups.

Ford F350 2024 Engine
One thing seems pretty certain in the powertrain arena: Super Duty will still be diesel. This news was revealed by Automotive News in 2021. But beyond that, we assume there will be at least one well-powered V-8.
However, the big question is whether Ford will add a PowerBoost hybrid option. With more and more automakers moving towards electrification (including Ford), we see this as a viable option, especially given the implications of the workplace with Pro Power Onboard.
2024 Ford F350 Release Date
In addition, production of the current Super Duty 2024 will begin at the Kentucky Truck plant on January 3, 2024, as well as the Ohio Assembly plant on February 13, 2024. However, as always, these dates may change within a certain time.
A world full of supply chain constraints, and until now, applies only to the production of fleets and commercial vehicles. It is currently unclear whether the retail unit will begin production on the same date as well.
Pay attention to the details of the new Super Duty this summer or early this fall, as it’s the 2024 model year.
2024 Ford F350 Price
While we don’t have much definitive information, with the leaks starting, we anticipate concrete details coming soon. Similar to the next-generation F-150, the 2024 Super Duty will get a refined style, a lot of cool technology, and quite a lot of practicality thrown into the mix.
The price of the next-generation Ford F-350 is estimated to be around $36,500 at the base trim level.
