2024 Ford Super Duty the fourteenth generation of the “regular” full-size Ford F-150 F-Series is doing well towards a new sales record now as it covers a wider spectrum of powertrains. So, maybe now is the perfect time to focus on the Super Duty stuff, even if it’s just virtually.
Following their interesting CGI previews of things like the 2024 GMC Sierra Denali EV, the 2024 Nissan Altima, or the all-new 2024 Honda CR-V, the good folks on the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have envisioned the upcoming Blue Oval look.
Heavy duty pickup truck, complete with all engine options. And we really mean that, with the rumors of gas, diesel, hybrid and EV.
Even better, in addition to discussing the recent spies that captured all the fifth-generation Ford Super Duty series showing off innovative design traits for the 2024 or 2024 model years, the channel has also taken the liberty of ditching all the camouflage for a nice set unofficial CGI changes.
That’s plural, even as the main hero of the digital day is the solitary F-250 truck in the Lariat trim (with exterior and interior CGI), as news outlets have also made virtual thoughts about the potential of Super Duty Lightning.
But that’s a lot more absurd than everything already known about super duty’s upcoming redesign – and don’t worry, all the rumors have been collected and shared in the video embedded below.
Plus, there’s a thought about the potential of the Super Duty Hybrid, as well as a comparison of old vs new, and an already traditional CGI preview of the color palette.
As always, although we are dealing with a rather short and dense six-minute video, the content is also scattered throughout the chapters and each has an exact timestamp embedded in the description.
We, for example, are always happy to start with a color preview and only then go back to the rumors and the main CGI reel but it’s just us, of course.
2024 Ford Super Duty Review
Not long ago, several high-cut test mules were seen on the street with LED headlights and open grilles ; later, someone shared a short video about the interior of the pre-production truck while still in the assembly plant.
Now we have a spy shot showing a Super Duty XL or XLT with plain halogen headlights and integrated beds.
The front three-quarters view shows a set of headlights that are very high and slightly out of place, especially against the background of camouflage. I don’t expect Ford to dress up a lower-trimmed Super Duty with high-end LEDs and chrome grilles — after all, they’re meant to be work trucks — but the contrast is striking.
Sometimes it takes a while to get used to the style of the new model, and I guess everyone will adjust to this bug-eye look in time.
We can see a torn hole in the camo wrapper that reveals the step of the built-in bed. This is a plus because pickups keep getting taller while the average person doesn’t. General Motors introduced similar features to contemporary Chevy and GMC HD models, and that should be a welcome addition to the Ford Super Duty.
There’s not much to dig out in the back, except for a sticker on the rear window that identifies this as a 2024 model year. The taillights look similar to the existing Super Duty, and the double-tipped exhaust likely indicates this mule has a Power Stroke diesel under its hood.
We’ll have a lot to talk about once the truck’s powertrain specs go public, though there will likely be no change in terms of engine displacement or the Blue Oval’s 10-speed automatic transmission.
Expect an optional 6.7-liter Power Stroke to produce over 1,050 pounds-feet of torque at the moment, all in the name of beating chevy and ram. It’s hard to say how much of its towing capacity will go up, but Ford will definitely want to beat the current F-450 that reaches 37,000 pounds.

New Ford Super Duty 2024 Redesign: Featuring an Updated Grille
We haven’t seen much from Ford hit the next Super Duty pickup truck. Rest assured, an updated model is coming that will offer significant updates both inside and outside. Thanks to the crew at TFLNow, we have the best view so far of what’s really going on under the heavy camouflage wrap.
A reader took photos and videos of the Super Duty prototype in Kingman, Arizona, likely undergoing hot weather testing. That could also explain why heavy camouflage is missing from the grids on these rigs, as the desert in western Arizona tends to be a little hot this time of year.
We didn’t see much, but it’s clear that the designers took a firmer approach to the face of Super Duty. The rectangular grille has a similar design to the one in the F-150 Platinum, suggesting this is a model with a higher trim. The driving lights seen on the lower bumper further support that theory.
It’s unclear whether the S-shaped trim around the headlights is a production feature or more for camouflage. Previous spy shots had made the lens well closed, but looking closely, we didn’t see the S shape under the cover.
In any case, it is easy to see the square shape of the lamp as a whole, again reflecting what we saw in the F-150. The less glamorous black steel wheels are almost invisible on the front, suggesting the mission for this truck is heavy-duty road testing.
We didn’t expect the next Super Duty to be a completely new model. The bones should carry over from the current model, along with familiar engine options that may be combined with a new hybrid configuration.
The truck currently offers a choice of a 6.2-litre or 7.3-litre petrol-fueled V8 engine, or a 6.7-litre Power Stroke turbo diesel that produces 475 horsepower (354 kilowatts) and 1,050 pound-feet (1,424 Newton-meters) of torque.
The disguised Super Duty prototype has been hanging around for the past year or so. Having said that, we believe Ford will debut an updated model later this year or early next year as a 2024 or 2024 model.
Ford Super Duty King Ranch 2024
The heavy-duty Ford truck will borrow a force cue from the F-150. Ford isn’t shy today with its new Super Duty truck test fleet. We recently caught a SuperCab model on the road that appears to be an XLT trim level. Now we have something a little bigger in the F-Series Super Duty family, and more fancy to boot.
Admittedly, it’s hard to hide a 22-foot-long truck. If anything, such vehicles stand out even more when wrapped in camouflage. Surprisingly, it seems that Ford is not interested in hiding the area where most of the changes are taking place.
The grille looks full here, except for a large ford oval mounted in the middle. Looking closely, we see a different grille design from the XLT we saw before, although the lights are still framed with large C-shaped walking lights. The chipped black paint around the grid suggests that it is actually chrome underneath.
Therefore, we think this is a King Ranch model – not top-of-the-line but certainly luxurious in its own right. The wheels also have black paint that looks chipped, revealing more chrome. The long box configuration with a larger cab and dual rear wheels makes it the F-350 model, a rig that currently costs $70,000 before the optional extras.
Our sources tell us that the King Ranch and Platinum trim levels will share the same front clip, with a combination of paints indicating which one. We’re seeing updated LED taillights on the rear, but beyond that, exterior upgrades versus the current Super Duty should be minimal.
Greater changes are expected inside. In keeping with the F-150, we hear a large center touchscreen will hold the station on a redesigned dashboard that still incorporates many tactile controls.
The screen can be 12 inches, and the new digital driver display could be part of the high-end King Ranch package. Expect a lot of technology too, though so far we haven’t heard anything definitive regarding Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free system.
Under the skin, Ford had to carry the bone and powertrain options of the current truck. That means the familiar gasoline or diesel power, is channeled through a 10-speed automatic transmission. The 6.7-liter turbo diesel V8 can get an increase in power to stay competitive with the big trucks from Chevrolet and Ram.
His debut is expected to happen in the fall. Depending on how quickly Ford moves into production, that means it could be a 2024 model although it will certainly apply to the 2024 model year.
2024 Ford Super Duty Release Date
There is currently no official release date for the 2024 Ford F350. Some sources say that the Ford Super Duty 2024 order bank opened on October 17, 2022. Production dates are set for January 2024 in Kentucky and February 2024 in Ohio, but this could change due to current supply chain issues.
The new 2024 Ford Super Duty truck is speculated to get a refresher from the current model year. If you’re not in a hurry to get a new truck, you may want to put your purchase on hold.
2024 Ford Super Duty Price
The expected price may start at around $36,000.
