The 2020 Ford Raptor is equipped with sync 3. So, it is obvious that the 2021 model will feature the latest Ford version of the sync system. This makes it easy to manage your playlists via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. With an optional Bang and Olufsen sound system, they will also sound great.

We haven’t seen any evidence that these will change, but it’s already a pretty big system.

The updated sound system has always been optional. So do internal packages, including the Carbon Fiber and Blue Interior Accent Package. It seems reasonable that Ford will keep those as they are.

2021 Ford Raptor Specs

The 2020 Ford Raptor is equipped with FOX Live Valve racing shocks. Based on mules and espionage shots, it seems that the 2021 Raptor will continue to characterize these shocks.

These monotube shocks have variable compression damping. This feature allows continuous ground adjustments, creating a responsive off-road experience. Raptor riders are able to see an impressive level of handling control with these shocks. Many other suspension parts seem to change though.

Like most pickups, the F-150 Raptor 2020 has a leaf spring suspension. In the first images of 2021, no leafy springs are visible.

What is visible is a Panhard bar. Panhard bars are most frequently seen with reel spring suspension systems. It is very unusual to see a Panhard bar on a leaf spring suspension. This leads many to believe that the 2021 Raptor will use a five-link suspension configuration.

The multi-link suspension has many applications and benefits. As for off-road, multi-link suspensions allow for greater flexibility. More flex equals more potential off-road angles. This is ideal for sports such as desert racing.

In 2017, when Ford debuted the new F-150 Raptor, he competed in the Baja 1000, a race in the treacherous desert in northwestern Mexico. The Raptor finished third, securing its reputation as an off-road competitor. The Raptor’s inspiration, and what makes it different from the F-150, was an off-road desert race.

It seems likely that Ford is positioning the Raptor to do it again. With an improved suspension, will the Raptor be able to take it first?

2021 Ford Raptor Engine

The current Ford F-150 Raptor features a high yield 3.5L EcoBoost. Although the EcoBoost engine has only six cylinders, it produces 450 horsepower. More than enough to push the Raptor through its off-road and on-roading businesses.

But with Ram’s Rebel TRX offering a Hellcat, Ford has to up the ante. 2021 Ford Raptor News already has a supercharged V8 that is capable of fighting with the Hellcat. The Coyote engine, designated for the GT500 2020, affectionately called Predator, is a perfect choice. Coyote engines have been in the F-150 and Mustang since launch, and an updated Coyote completes the upgraded F-150.

If Ford wants the Raptor to keep fighting the TRX, it’s a necessary choice. The 760 hp will beat well out of the TRX 707 hp, and with a smaller displacement.

While this rumor is not confirmed at this time, a V8 Ford Raptor looks quite solid and based on reality. This acts almost like cruise-control for off-road vehicles. As conditions change, the route control system automatically adjusts the power to keep you at a steady speed.

2021 Ford Raptor Price

The 2020 Raptor retails at the highest price of the line of 53,205 dollars (starting). It is likely that the 2021 Raptor will be in the same range. At that price, people expect top-of-the-line features. The F-150 Raptor delivers.
